As president of Indian Academy of Paediatrics It is a proud privilege for me to write a message for the IAP Drug Formulary- the flagship project of IAP and CMIC of IAP. Ever since its launch in 2005 the IAP Drug Formulary has become extremely popular over the years & proved to be an asset to users and the secrete for this is regular periodic update and instant online availability of update.

Like me, for many more paediatricians this pediatric drug formulary has become an important companion in their day to day practice because of most updated content and easy to retrieve the information online. The users eagerly wait for the periodic web updates and time to time release of updated print versions of IAP Drug formulary.

The IAP Drug Formulary has always match with the time and technology and mobile app of IAP Drug Formulary is the example of that. And it has enhanced the usage of IAP Drug Formulary and provided the users faster access.

I congratulate Dr Jeeson and stalwarts of IAP CMIC for their dedication in executing the project most efficient way and for this excellent work. Any ongoing project requires continuous professional inputs. I am very happy and would like to compliment office bearers of all the sub-specialty chapters of IAP for their continuous inputs in keeping this drug formulary updated with recent advances in the therapeutics.

As a part of our current vision to take IAP beyond the boundaries I wish that we can provide this wonderful tool to paediatricians of our surrounding countries who are not as well developed as our nation India and their paediatric association is not as vibrant and dynamic as our Indian Academy Of Paediatrics.
