Dear Fellow Academician,

It is a matter of pride and privilege to write a message for IAP Pediatric Drug Formulary, the proud project of CMIC. The IAP Drug Formulary has become extremely popular over the years. Pediatricians and all those caring for neonates, children and adolescents in India and abroad vouch for its authenticity as it has strived to maintain international standards. More than 5000 users have benefited from the quarterly web updates and are eagerly awaiting the 30th Web Update. The drug formulary has bought laurels name and fame not only to CMIC but for the entire IAP.

The 3rd hard copy edition of the IAP Drug Formulary and the 'Pocket Dose Book of Medicines for Children and Adolescents' need to be available with us at all times. This continues to be the only Drug Formulary in the world that provides quarterly web updates free of cost to its users. The mobile app of the IAP DF that was launched this year allows pediatricians the power of being up-to-date with pediatric therapeutics at the click of a button.

I take this opportunity to congratulate Dr. Jeeson Unni, Editor in Chief, and IAP CMIC for their dedication in executing the project and all sub-specialty chapters for contributing to the success of the Formulary.

I wish all the web updates for 2013, its online version, the recently introduced mobile apps and all publications of the IAP Drug Formulary - a resounding success.
